Time for history.
One of the most interesting estates to visit close to where my son and daughter-in-law live is called The Hermitage. We just had to visit it on one of the days they were both at work to get to know the area even if it didn't have the same name as the town we have called home for 32 years! It was a beautiful day. Since the weather could change to rain at anytime in springtime, this was a good visit choice because it offered both indoor and outdoor things to enjoy. There was only one other couple visiting that we saw and they were arriving about the time we were leaving so we had the whole place to ourselves for a self tour! It appeared to be so well funded that there was no admission fee at this time. It was a great morning! I have included all my favorite photos but there is so much more to see.
