2022 Winter - January & February
We got a lot done inside. After seven months of DIY, the master bathroom was completed and in use with much anticipated joy!
While the snow and cold stayed outside, we were warming up the inside with much baking especially when our granddaughter was here. At age 4, Kayleen could do many things to help including taste testing at every level.
We are a Puzzling Family! Starting in December, the puzzle board comes out and there's always one kind of puzzle or another in progress. There were six new ones and several old ones that were done this winter. It was amazing how well Kayleen stayed interested and hard to pull her away especially when she sees more done after she went to bed the night before. She seemed determined to get her share in!
In between the cold weather were nice enough days to go below the dam for a walk and use the playground equipment. We also had a great time at the local Ha Ha Tonka State Park to visit the castle ruins.
On the days our granddaughter was not here, I stayed busy with my old photo project of digitizing over 40 albums. I had a new app that colorized black & white photos. I started at the beginning of my photo collections with dated photos back to the 1930s and ended about 1963. I will start back up again next winter and include writing my autobiography which I left off about the same time as the photo digitizing. My memories are guided by the chronilogical order I had always kept photos. The story practically writes itself! The fun continues as I create musical photo slides shows that can be viewed on our large screen TV for all to enjoy; especially Kayleen seeing those that can before. Of course, she got bored easy and had to watch her shows in between!

February had more baking and Valentine's Day was a fun time especially making Valentine cards for everyone! Winter now was a very colorful sprinkle time!
Back to more photo colorizing and digitizing after Kayleen was back home again. This time, I took on Keith's family photos.

The month ended with more snow and lots of fun outdoors!
